Nationwide Equities Announces Retirement of President Glenn J. Wallace After Distinguished 50+ Year Career

Park Ridge, NJ October 22, 2026 –(PR.com)– Nationwide Equities is proud to announce the retirement of its President, Glenn J. Wallace, after an accomplished and influential career spanning more than half a century in the mortgage finance industry.

Mr. Wallace is a highly respected finance executive and entrepreneur whose career in banking and mortgage lending has left a lasting impact on the industry. Born in Brooklyn, New York, into a family that instilled the values of hard work and integrity, Mr. Wallace attended Rutgers College on a golf scholarship, earning his degree in Economics before going on to complete an MBA in Marketing at Hofstra University.

He began his professional journey at Citibank in New York City, where he quickly distinguished himself as the institution’s top-producing loan originator. Within just two years, he rose to the role of Assistant Vice President. Mr. Wallace was later recruited by Dime Savings Bank, where he played a pivotal role in pioneering Home Equity and Co-op loan programs. His leadership and innovation led to his promotion to Senior Vice President at the age of 31, and he subsequently became President of Dime’s New Jersey mortgage banking division. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Wallace left Dime Savings Bank to further pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in finance.

Guided by an entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Wallace partnered with Paul Lamparillo to acquire Nationwide Equities, where he served as President alongside Mr. Lamparillo. Among his many contributions, Mr. Wallace introduced the concept of “Net-Branching” and successfully obtained regulatory approval for the model. This innovation enabled Nationwide Equities to grow to more than 100 branch offices across the country. Under his leadership, Nationwide Equities became one of the largest independent, privately held originators of reverse mortgages in its footprint.

One of Mr. Wallace’s final and most notable industry contributions was his work with the New York State Department of Financial Services to enable reverse co-op loans in New York—making it the only state in the nation to offer reverse mortgages on cooperative units.

Mr. Wallace is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. He is spending his time refining his golf game, traveling the world, spending more days on his boat, and cherishing time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

“We wish him the very best of health and enjoyment,” stated Paul Lamparillo, Nationwide’s Chief Executive Officer.

Nationwide Equities is also pleased to announce that Glenn J. Wallace will be succeeded by Philip Parziale as President. Mr. Parziale will also continue to serve as the company’s General Counsel.
