Bellementis Welcomes Former FINRA Enforcement Litigation Head Jen Crawford

Bellementis PLLC is pleased to announce that Jen Crawford, the former head of litigation for FINRA Enforcement, has joined the firm as a Partner, further strengthening the firm’s securities litigation, enforcement defense, and regulatory practices.

As scrutiny of market participants intensifies across examinations, enforcement actions, and disclosure obligations, clients need counsel that understands the regulatory process from the inside, and delivers when it matters most. Bellementis has built its platform deliberately, assembling a team equipped to navigate the investigations, litigation, and high-consequence regulatory challenges defining today’s securities markets.

“Bellementis is built for the moments that decide outcomes,” said Teresa Goody Guillén, Managing Partner. “Jen understands how securities matters are built, tried, and resolved because she has led that work from inside the principal securities regulators. Her experience will be invaluable to clients confronting bet-the-company regulatory and enforcement challenges.”

Before joining Bellementis, Jen spent 13 years at FINRA, most recently as Vice President of Litigation in FINRA’s Enforcement Department, where she led the organization’s nationwide enforcement litigation and appellate programs. During her tenure, she supervised more than 300 hearings and appeals. She also previously served as a Director in the Enforcement Department, and as a Hearing Officer in FINRA’s Office of Hearing Officers.

Earlier in her career, Jen served as a Senior Counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement. In this role, she served as lead counsel on complex investigations, played a key role on numerous litigations, and coordinated with criminal law enforcement agencies on parallel investigations.
